It is also called Kacha papaya no sambharo where kacha means unripe in Gujarati.<br />Cabbage Sambharo, also known as "Kobi no sambharo" in Gujarati is a well known traditional side dish that you'll often find in Gujarati thali or with fafda & jalebi.<br /><br />Ingredients for Gobhi Sambhara:<br />(Serves 2)<br />- Cabbage<br />- 2-3 tbsp Oil<br />- 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds<br />- 2-3 Green Chillies(chopped)<br />- Asafoetida<br />- 5-6 Curry Leaves<br />- Turmeric Powder <br /><br />Ingredients for Raw Papita Sambhara:<br />- Papaya(shredded)<br />- 1-2 tbsp Oil<br />- Mustard Seeds<br />- Asafoetida<br />- 3-4 Curry Leaves<br />- Turmeric Powder<br />- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder <br /><br />Method:<br />1. For Gobhi Sambhara, Take Shredded Cabbage in a large bowl<br />2. Turn on the gas and add oil in a large pan <br />3. Once the oil is heated, add mustard seeds, chopped green chillies, asafoetida, curry leaves, turmeric powder, and shredded cabbage<br />4. Add salt and mix it all <br />5. Now, for Raw Papita Sambharo, turn on the flame and place a pan over it<br />6. Add oil in the pan, followed with mustard seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves, turmeric powder, and shredded papita <br />7. Add salt from the top along with red chilli powder and mix it<br />8. Another way of making raw papita sambhara is, taking shredded raw papaya<br />9. Add 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder from the top and mix it
